Terms of service

These terms explain what you can expect from ProfileLauncher, what you are responsible for, and how subscriptions and cancellation work. They form your agreement with Cloud Garden Ltd when you use the service on behalf of your business.

Last updated: 13 September 2026

Launch service

The initial service provides a website preview, supported content edits and paid publication at a ProfileLauncher-hosted address. Custom domains, additional paid tiers, contact-form handling and two-way Google editing are not included unless expressly offered in your order. We do not promise search rankings, leads or uninterrupted third-party availability.

Using Profile Launcher

Use the service only for businesses you are authorized to represent. You are responsible for checking your website before publishing and for having the necessary rights to the content you provide.

Publishing and payment

You can preview a website before paying. Publishing requires a subscription. The recurring price and billing interval are shown in checkout before you agree to pay. Manage subscription in your account opens Stripe’s billing portal, where you can review payment details and cancellation options.

The initial Website plan is US$29 per month. It renews automatically until cancelled. Any applicable taxes or additional charges must be disclosed before checkout confirmation. Your bank may apply currency-conversion charges. Cancellation through the billing portal normally takes effect at the end of the paid period; check the confirmation for the effective date. Failed payments may take the website offline. We do not promise refunds of unused periods, but statutory rights and refunds required by law remain unaffected.

Your content and access

You retain your rights in content you provide and authorize us to host, format and display it to supply the service. Do not publish unlawful, misleading or infringing material, expose personal information without authority, or interfere with other accounts. Protect your sign-in and private preview links. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address security incidents, unlawful content or material breaches, and will provide notice where practicable.

Google listing protection

Website editing, publishing and unpublishing do not edit your Google Business Profile. We use Google business access to read information, not to change your listing, reviews or photos. Google may describe the required permission more broadly than the operations our service performs. Signing in, refreshing access and revoking access on disconnection or deletion involve separate Google authorization requests.

Updates and availability

We refresh connected business content. Updates depend on the source provider and may not appear immediately. If access is revoked or cached content expires without a successful refresh, the affected content or website becomes unavailable.

Taking a website offline

Unpublish makes the ProfileLauncher website private while keeping saved edits. It does not remove or change the Google listing and does not cancel the subscription. Use Account & billing to cancel recurring billing. Republishing remains subject to valid access, current source content and an eligible subscription.

Ending your use

Disconnecting Google takes affected websites offline but does not itself cancel a subscription. Use Manage subscription to cancel billing, or Delete account to remove your account and request cancellation of its subscriptions. Contact support about billing disputes or refund requests.

Support

Contact the operator using the address above for account, website or billing assistance. Nothing on this page is intended to remove any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Business use and our responsibility

The service is intended for business use. If you act for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Third-party services, including Google and Stripe, have their own terms and availability; we do not control their decisions or guarantee continued access to them.

Limits of liability

For business customers, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities or anticipated savings. Our total liability for a claim or series of related claims arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of US$100 and the fees you paid us for the service in the twelve months immediately before the first event giving rise to those claims. These limits apply regardless of the legal basis of a claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

Governing law and disputes

These terms and disputes arising out of or relating to them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Subject to any mandatory rights under applicable law, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Please contact support first so we can try to resolve a concern; this does not prevent you from exercising legal rights or seeking urgent relief.

Changes to these terms

We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes, including subscription price changes, unless an urgent legal or security reason requires otherwise. Price changes apply only to future billing periods. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect. Changes do not retrospectively alter accrued rights.

Business customer data processing

Where we process personal data on your behalf to host your website, you are controller and Cloud Garden Ltd is processor. This section forms our processing agreement and takes priority for that processing. Account administration, billing and security processing for our own purposes are described separately in the Privacy notice.

The processing comprises collecting, storing, displaying, refreshing and deleting website content for the duration of the service and its deletion process. It may concern business contacts, staff, reviewers and people shown in authorized content, including names, contact details, images and review text. Do not supply sensitive personal information or content you lack authority to publish.

We process that data only on your documented instructions, including use of the service, and lawful instructions sent to support, unless law requires otherwise. We will notify you of such a requirement where permitted and flag instructions we believe infringe data-protection law. People authorized to process data must be bound to confidentiality. We maintain appropriate security measures, including access controls, protected connections and encrypted stored Google credentials.

You authorize Netlify for hosting and Convex for database processing. We remain responsible for their processor obligations and require equivalent contractual protection. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of a proposed new or replacement subprocessor, allowing objections on reasonable data-protection grounds. If we cannot resolve an objection, you may end the affected service before the change and receive a refund for its unused prepaid period.

Taking account of the processing and information available, we will assist with rights requests, security, breach response and required impact assessments or regulatory consultation. We will notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal-data breach affecting your data. We will provide compliance information and allow appropriate audits by you or your mandated auditor, using confidentiality and reasonable scheduling safeguards that do not restrict statutory rights.

At the end of processing, we will return or delete your personal data at your choice and delete copies unless legally required to retain them. Request a return before deleting your account. Backup copies awaiting provider deletion remain protected and must not be used for another purpose. We will use an applicable lawful safeguard for restricted international transfers. Contact support@profilelauncher.com for processing instructions, provider details or safeguards.
